Description
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is soliciting bids for four related contracts for a shower building addition at the NYS Park Police Training Academy: general construction contract D006718, electrical contract D006719, mechanical contract D006720, and plumbing contract D006721. The project includes removing two existing shower trailers; constructing an approximately 3,300-square-foot, 12-room shower building addition; replacing approximately 120 square feet of dormitory roof system with limited asbestos abatement; tree clearing; site utilities; concrete and asphalt paving; electrical service upgrades; all-electric HVAC and domestic water heating; thermostatic zone valves; and plumbing fixtures, equipment, and associated work. Estimated contract ranges are $2,868,500–$3,880,800 for general construction, $243,900–$329,900 for electrical, $265,300–$358,800 for mechanical, and $366,100–$495,200 for plumbing. Bids must include bid security, contractor registration documentation, and a signed Gender-Based Violence and the Workplace Certification. MWBE participation goals apply separately to each contract, and a 6% SDVOB participation goal applies to the general construction contract. Performance and labor and material/payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, are required from the successful bidder.
