Description
METRO is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of specified light rail vehicle truck components, including brake discs, suspension-leg overhaul kits, brake sensor assemblies, wheel shunts, and axles. The bid table lists estimated annual quantities and requires unit and total pricing for Years 1 and 2. The procurement is brand-name restricted to the manufacturers identified for the listed parts; equivalent products are not permitted. The resulting contract is for a two-year period, with orders placed as needed and routine delivery generally required within 30 calendar days of a release order. Bidders must provide a restocking-fee percentage for eligible returned parts.
