Morristown & Erie Railway, Inc. is seeking a qualified railroad track construction contractor for a project involving approximately 58,080 linear feet of Railway-furnished rail, seven Railway-furnished turnouts, and restoration of approximately 1,349 feet of the former Stony Brook Siding. The work also includes furnishing and installing ballast, insulated joints, compromise welds, surfacing, and associated railroad track construction activities. The project is funded in part through the Federal Railroad Administration's FY 2023–2024 Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements Program. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be followed by a guided corridor inspection. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids.
