Description
Transport for Greater Manchester is conducting voluntary preliminary market engagement to understand supplier appetite and capability for a future procurement of high-floor tram vehicles for tram and tram-train operation. The anticipated scope includes vehicle design, manufacture, testing, commissioning, and support for introduction into service, along with technical documentation, training, spare parts, and whole-life support. Interested manufacturers should register on the Pro Contract e-Platform, access opportunity DN833433, and use its messaging function to confirm interest. A questionnaire will then be issued and must be returned through the same messaging function. Respondents may be invited to individual workshops. This engagement is separate from any future procurement and does not affect eligibility to participate in it.
