Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks information from vendors capable of furnishing and installing two replacement bulletproof medical window boxes for the pharmacy in Building 81 at the American Lake VA Medical Center. The contractor would remove and dispose of the two damaged window boxes, install replacements at the dispensing window and back cage, coordinate work to minimize patient impact, and perform functional testing. The requested equipment is identified as CRL Clear Package Receiver, Part Number CPR31, or an equal product meeting the stated characteristics: Level 3 bullet protection, 16-inch by 16-inch by 16-inch dimensions, left-hand hinge, UL 752 compliance, Lexgard material, satin-finish aluminum extrusions, one-door-at-a-time operation, and specified Level 1 acrylic and Level 3 Lexgard glazing. Respondents must provide company and socioeconomic information, manufacturer or authorized-reseller status, descriptive literature for equal products, manufacturer and part numbers, warranty information, country of origin, a courtesy quote, and applicable contract vehicle information. The anticipated requirement is an unrestricted, open-market, firm-fixed-price service contract with a 120-business-day performance period after award.
