Description
The Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) is requesting proposals for a custom-built aluminum fire boat to enhance the firefighting capabilities of the Sproat Lake Volunteer Fire Department. The boat will be used for shoreline fires and will feature a drop bow/landing craft design with a front ramp, lockable storage, and seating for three. It will be powered by dual outboard engines and equipped with essential electronics such as GPS, a depth sounder, marine radio, and navigation lights. The fire suppression system includes a diesel pump with a minimum capacity of 1050 GPM and a hand-operated deck gun. The project also includes a trailer and on-site training for operation. The maximum budget for this project is $450,000.00.
