Description
Lexington County is seeking qualified contractors to provide on-call parking lot rehabilitation and preventative maintenance services for various projects, including unanticipated emergencies. The scope may include labor, materials, equipment, site review, utility locating, excavation, removal and replacement of pavement and curbs, asphalt and concrete installation, drainage and walkway work, grading, compaction, testing, traffic control, pavement markings, inspections, permits, and disposal of unsuitable materials. The prime contractor must be capable of providing at least 100% of the described services. Responders must demonstrate relevant experience, personnel qualifications, licenses, equipment, project-management capability, and the ability to meet project schedules and budgets. The contract is an on-call, indefinite-quantity arrangement under which the County will obtain project-specific quotes from awarded contractors. A proposal bond is required with the response at 5% of the total proposal amount; performance and payment bonds may be required for assigned contracts of $50,000 or more. Required proposal materials include a technical qualifications proposal, references, personnel resumes, an approach to the scope, a 30-day mobilization certification, the Non-Collusion Affidavit, and the Certificate of Familiarity.
