Description
The Santa Clara Valley Water District is seeking the supply and delivery of filled and unfilled untreated burlap sandbags. Requirements include printed and unprinted bags, filled bags containing washed concrete sand, specified bag sizes and weights, and palletized packaging. The estimated annual quantities are 54,000 filled printed bags and 60,000 each of empty printed and empty unprinted bags; additional filled and emergency unprinted bags may be ordered as needed. The contractor must maintain a qualifying inventory location within 250 driving miles of the delivery yard, meet scheduled and emergency delivery timelines, and provide shipment records and a certificate of compliance with each filled-bag delivery. Printed bags must use the buyer-provided artwork and meet its imprint specifications. Bidders must submit the required bid forms and supporting response materials through the designated electronic portal; attendance at the virtual pre-bid conference is mandatory.
