Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting thermal fabric supplied in 50-yard rolls. The material must meet the Auburn Manufacturing AS3600F-36S part-number requirements; the solicitation also identifies AVSIL Silica Fabric 188CH and MIL-C-24576 Type I Class I as authorized alternatives. The packaging label must use the nomenclature “FABRIC, THERMAL.” The supplier must maintain an acceptable inspection system, comply with applicable military packaging and cleanliness-control requirements, and provide a Certificate of Compliance under DI-MISC-81356 at material delivery for each unique contract/purchase-order number, National Stock Number, and item nomenclature combination. The procurement is a total small-business set-aside and requires compliance with the stated material, quality, packaging, and mercury-exclusion provisions.
