Description
This project involves significant civil engineering and construction work in Buffalo, Erie County, New York. Key components include the extension of SPP 337 Diversion Chamber, installation of a new dropshaft to the Scajaquada Tunnel, and the laying of new 42-inch diameter piping. Additionally, the existing SPP337 interceptor chamber will be modified, and an existing dropshaft will be converted into an air vent shaft. The project also includes the installation of a temporary access road and comprehensive restoration of the work zone, encompassing landscaping, paving, curb replacement, and sidewalk replacement. Kandey Company, Inc. is actively seeking participation from NYS certified Minority/Women Business Enterprises (MWBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) for all scopes of work detailed in the contract documents. The overall MWBE goal for this project is 20.00%.
