Description
The City of Lincoln, through the Lincoln Wastewater System, is soliciting bids for construction of the South 98th Street trunk sewer from Pioneers Boulevard to just north of Merion Circle, Project 705179. The work includes approximately 3,000 linear feet of 8-, 12-, and 15-inch PVC sanitary sewer; six manholes; sanitary sewer services; connections to existing and future force-main infrastructure; a trenchless crossing with a 24-inch steel casing; excavation, dewatering, utility protection, traffic control, roadway and asphalt restoration, clearing, seeding, and stormwater pollution prevention measures. The project requires substantial completion by February 26, 2027, and final completion by April 30, 2027. Bidders must provide at least five similar projects completed within the last three years, complete the itemized bid spreadsheet, and submit the required foreign-adversary certification and Employee Classification Act affidavit. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, are required with the signed contract after award. The insurance determination identifies commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers’ compensation coverage requirements.
