Description
The Kentucky Department of Corrections, through the Finance and Administration Cabinet, is issuing a Request for Bid (RFB) to establish a Master Agreement for the supply of wood and lumber products to the Kentucky Correctional Industries (KCI) plants at Green River Correctional Complex (GRCC) in Central City, KY, and Little Sandy Correctional Complex (LSCC) in Elliott County, KY. The solicitation covers five commodity groups: Hardwood Plywood (Veneer Core), Veneered MDF Panels, Particle Board (Composite Panel Products), Rough Hardwood Lumber, and Pallet Products. Vendors may bid on one or more groups, and multiple contracts may be awarded. The contract will be for an initial period of one year with four optional two-year renewals. Delivery must be within five business days after receipt of order, F.O.B. Destination Freight Prepaid and Allowed. Award will be based on best value with price weighted at 100 points and delivery pass/fail.
