Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District, requires a firm-fixed-price commercial construction contractor to disconnect, relocate, reconnect, test, and place into operation an existing 480V-to-277V lighting transformer and associated disconnect switches. The work includes new conduit systems, insulated copper conductors, supports, grounding and bonding, equipment labeling, firestopping, anchorage, seismic restraints, shutdown and tie-in coordination, and restoration of an operational electrical distribution system. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, testing, quality control, and incidental work. Required closeout and technical submittals include product data, transformer manufacturer data if replacement components are provided, testing and commissioning reports, and record drawings. The estimated magnitude is $15,000 to $30,000, and performance is scheduled from September 28, 2026, through February 26, 2027, with completion required within 84 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed. Work is subject to federal installation access, security, escort, training, and employment-verification requirements.
