Description
The City of Newport Beach is soliciting a lump-sum contractor to procure and install two permanent generators—one at the Utility Yard and one at the Corporation Yard—along with all associated improvements shown in the plans and bid documents. The work is a public-works project and includes the full scope identified in the plans, specifications, and special provisions. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with California Department of Industrial Relations registration, noticing, monitoring, and enforcement requirements. The solicitation requires A, B, and C-10 electrical licensing, a 10 percent bid bond, 100 percent payment and performance bonds, and completion within 50 consecutive working days after the Notice to Proceed. The estimated bid value is $1,500,000, and the contract is awarded on a lump-sum basis.
