Description
The City seeks a New Jersey-licensed professional planner for a one-year appointment, serving at the pleasure of the City Council and subject to termination at any time. Services include attending meetings as requested, coordinating with city officials and staff on projects, providing professional planning services to authorized department heads, and assisting with grant applications for civil projects. The primary planner's hourly rate may not exceed $175, and applicants must be licensed and in good standing to practice as a professional planner in New Jersey. Applicants must submit qualification responses addressing municipal and redevelopment planning experience, knowledge of the Municipal Land Use Law and Residential Site Improvement Standards, current municipal planner appointments, license suspensions or revocations, office location, and staffing resources. A resume or other documentation demonstrating compliance with the minimum requirements is also requested, along with signed Pay to Play forms and the completed Combined Certification concerning prohibited activities in Russia and Belarus and investment activities in Iran. Submit two proposal copies, with one clearly marked “Original.”
