Description
Rockwood School District is soliciting bids for equipment and installation on one 2027 Ford F-550 4x4 Super Duty Crew Cab chassis. The required configuration includes a Galion 9-foot steel dump body with cab protector, a lockable truck box, pintle-and-ball hitch plate, hydraulic stainless-steel tailgate salt spreader, Western 9.6-foot MVP 3 electric snowplow, and a hydraulic power takeoff system for the dump body and spreader. The installation also includes an amber Ecco mini light bar, four amber strobe lights, wiring of all lights and the power takeoff to the vehicle's upfitter switches, and installation of additional dash switches if needed. Bids must include lead time, shipping or delivery charges, installation, product warranty information, and the bidder's total cost. The awarded vendor is expected to store the equipment until installation and complete delivery of the products and services on or about December 11, 2026.
