Description
The City of Brentwood is soliciting unit-price construction bids for stormwater improvements at five sites. The work includes new, removed, and replacement storm structures; two new inlets; 24 feet of 18-inch RCP piping; 36 feet of 12-inch RCP piping; and restoration of pavement, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, sodding, fencing, a tree, a retaining wall, and a driveway, as applicable at each site. Bids must be submitted on the printed bid forms in duplicate and accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the bidder's maximum bid price. The successful contractor must furnish performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount, and obtain required Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District permits and a City of Brentwood occupational license. The project is subject to Missouri prevailing-wage requirements and includes temporary traffic control and site restoration obligations.
