Description
The Town seeks an attorney or law firm to provide prosecution services for matters within the jurisdiction of the Middletown Municipal Court and related proceedings. Work includes appearing in court, prosecuting ordinance violations and other municipal court matters, reviewing case materials, exercising prosecutorial discretion, conducting pretrial conferences and plea negotiations, preparing and presenting contested matters, handling motions, preparing witnesses, coordinating with police personnel, maintaining case information, and providing backup coverage. Appeals or related proceedings are included when specifically authorized.
