Description
The City of Perry is seeking an experienced, strategic, and collaborative attorney to serve as its next City Attorney. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide executive-level legal counsel to the Mayor, City Council, City Manager, and City leadership while helping guide one of Georgia's fastest-growing communities. As the City's chief legal advisor, you will play a vital role in protecting the City's legal interests and supporting sound public policy. You will advise on a wide range of municipal matters including governance, economic development, land use, public safety, contracts, litigation, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished municipal attorney who combines exceptional legal expertise with practical judgment, integrity, diplomacy, and outstanding communication skills. Candidates should possess demonstrated experience in municipal law, contract negotiation, land use, public procurement, open government laws, and litigation management.
