Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service requires one Patterson-Kelley Blend Master Drive System, or equivalent, for laboratory dry-powder blending. The system must include a non-intensifier fixed-speed drive station compatible with 4-, 8-, and 16-quart shells; push-button controls; an integrated rotation timer; an integral barrier guard; SIL3-rated emergency stops; interlock circuitry; and operation on standard 115-volt, single-phase, 60-Hz electrical service. The required configuration includes one 8-quart and one 16-quart 316 stainless-steel Cross-Flow blending shell, a portable 304 stainless-steel cart, spare cover gaskets for each shell size, electronic operations and maintenance manuals, drawings, and schematics. The equipment must be properly packaged for shipment and delivered FOB destination to Fargo, North Dakota, with shipment expected approximately four to six working weeks after receipt of the purchase order. Quotations must identify the offered product, pricing, place of manufacture, all shipping costs, and technical documentation demonstrating compliance with the salient characteristics; an equivalent product must be clearly identified and supported by descriptive literature.
