Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is procuring a firm-fixed-price three-line decontamination shelter/tent system for the Fargo VA Medical Center. The system must support two ambulatory shower lines and one non-ambulatory line, include integrated undress and redress areas, and be deployable by at least four people within four minutes. Required characteristics include a portable corrosion-resistant aluminum or acceptable inflatable frame, chemical-resistant fire-retardant fabric, integrated 360-degree spray jets, divider curtains, a wastewater basin, and specified storage and deployed dimensions. The system must include a flash water heater, two decontamination hoses, a 110-volt 30-GPM submersible wastewater pump, LED light fixtures, litter conveyors, transfer boards, floor risers, hand sprayers, and a shower maintenance kit. The solicitation is an SDVOSB set-aside and requires compliance with the Buy American Act; the amendment removed the brand-name-or-equal and RapidGB language. The quotation must include pricing and delivery information, a completed and signed SF 1449, amendment acknowledgment, an authorized distributor letter if applicable, a technical capability narrative, a signed Buy American Certificate, and the required limitations-on-subcontracting certification. Delivery and installation are required, with shipping included in the product price.
