Description
The University of North Dakota is soliciting bids for six standby generator packages serving Abbott Hall, Chester Fritz Library, Hughes Fine Arts Center, Odegard Hall, Chester Fritz Auditorium, and Twamley Hall. The base bid includes air-cooled, standby-rated generator units with building-specific power outputs from 30 kW to 125 kW, natural gas or diesel fuel, specified phase and voltage, and Level 3 sound-attenuated enclosures. Each package must include a separately priced automatic transfer switch, equipment purchase, FOB destination freight and site delivery, initial factory start-up, and field commissioning services. Physical installation and exterior utility work will be performed by UND staff and separate contractors. An alternate package changes fuel sources and enclosure requirements for the six buildings. Bidders must provide estimated unit lead times for every base and alternate line item, submit descriptive literature or detailed manufacturer specifications demonstrating compliance, and enter pricing for all lines, using $0.00 where an item cannot be bid. Awards will be split by building, with six awards anticipated. The solicitation also requires a signed Bidder Information and Signature page and a maximum upload size of 20 MB per file.
