Description
The City seeks an individual or firm to serve as its primary economic development resource, with an anticipated workload of approximately six hours per week and potential for additional hours. Services include economic development planning and strategy; business recruitment, retention, and expansion; housing and community development; grant research, applications, administration, and compliance; economic development financing programs; support for Economic Development Authority meetings and initiatives; community outreach; and required reporting. Deliverables include monthly activity reports, quarterly progress updates, meeting support, an annual work plan and year-end report, and required program reporting. Proposals must describe the respondent's relevant experience, assigned personnel qualifications, proposed approach, fee structure, availability, and two to three professional references. Proposals are due November 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Central Time and may be submitted electronically or by mail.
