Description
Bernalillo County seeks a regional economic development partner to deliver strategic services supporting business attraction, retention and expansion, workforce development, site readiness, regional competitiveness, and measurable community benefits. Work includes promoting the county to prospective businesses; maintaining a site and building inventory; conducting employer outreach; coordinating workforce and infrastructure initiatives; supporting marketing and site-readiness efforts; and reporting on project activity, outcomes, and performance measures. Services cover the county, including its unincorporated areas. The selected contractor will provide quarterly performance reports and site inventory updates, an annual work plan, and at least annual briefings to the County Commission and executive staff. The County has allocated up to $200,000 annually. The anticipated agreement term is four years, with an option to renew for an additional two years. Proposals must include a technical response, three similar-project references, a project approach and performance metrics, and a completed cost response form, along with required disclosure and reporting forms.
