Description
Sandy City is seeking a vendor to provide cost-recovery services for hazardous-materials and nonmedical fire-department incidents. The scope includes identifying responsible parties and insurers; preparing cost-recovery documentation; generating detailed invoices; and providing follow-up, tracking, reporting, and appeals support. Covered incidents include motor-vehicle accidents, lift assists at licensed care facilities, downed power lines and transformers, investigative or standby services, rescues, extrications, false alarms, illegal burns, structure fires, hazardous-materials emergencies, and other directed hazardous-materials services. The contractor must provide a secure mobile application that enables responders to document incidents on scene, capture and attach photographs, enter required data, submit cleanup or cost-recovery information immediately, and support supervisor review and integration with the contractor's cost-recovery workflow. Proposals must address company information and relevant experience, technical approach, staffing and staff certifications, and at least three municipal references from the past five years. Pricing is entered through the solicitation's line-item fields rather than included in the proposal narrative. A certificate of insurance meeting the stated professional liability, commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation and employers' liability, and cyber-liability requirements must accompany the proposal.
