Description
Saratoga County seeks one qualified organization to provide two Certified Peer Recovery Advocates for students and families in participating Saratoga County school districts. Services include peer-based support and education; behavioral health, substance use, and recovery resource navigation; referrals and linkage to community services; follow-up; coordination with school personnel and community providers; consultation for school staff; and participation in coordination meetings. The provider must also supply an appropriately qualified peer supervisor and describe its supervision approach, school-setting practices, confidentiality and professional-boundary procedures, and coordination process. Eligibility is limited to nonprofit agencies or organizations licensed or certified by the New York State Office of Mental Health or the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports. Applicants must demonstrate relevant youth, family, substance-use, or behavioral-health experience and organizational capacity to recruit, retain, supervise, and support CRPA staff. The County intends to award one three-year contract funded through Opioid Regional Abatement Funding. Proposals are evaluated on cost, understanding of scope, experience, and creativity/approach. Required materials include the proposal, vendor information, disclosure and certification forms, and applicable supporting documentation; insurance certificates are required before work begins, with specified $1 million liability limits and the County named as an additional insured.
