Dormitory Furniture Supply, Installation, and Removal

This solicitation is for the supply, delivery, removal, and disposal of current dormitory furniture, as well as the installation and assembly of new bedroom furniture for 144 rooms in Building 1428 at Aviano Air Base, Italy. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, equipment, parts, and transportation required for these services. The new furniture includes items such as under-bed storage units, chests, bookcases, nightstands, desks, chairs, beds, and fireproof mattresses, all to be constructed from solid hardwood. The contractor must also handle the removal and disposal of existing furniture and packing waste in accordance with local laws and regulations. Installation services will be performed within regular working hours, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with specific coordination required for access and any necessary heavy lifting equipment for reaching the second floor. Deliveries and installations are to be completed within 90-120 working days from the award date, with the removal and installation of furniture in each room occurring on the same day.
