Supply, Delivery, Installation, and Removal of Dormitory Furniture

This solicitation is for the supply, delivery, removal, and disposal of current furniture, as well as the installation and assembly of new bedroom furniture for 102 dormitory rooms at Building 1426, Aviano Air Base, Italy. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of existing furniture and packing waste, followed by the installation and assembly of new furniture. The new furniture includes under-bed storage units, three-drawer chests, three-shelf bookcases, nightstands, desks, chairs with upholstered seats and backs, slat beds on metal legs, and fireproof mattresses. All furniture must be fabricated from hardwoods such as Oak, Beech, Ash, and Maple, with no particle board or MDF. The color specified for the furniture is Cherry. Installation services require the contractor to be self-supported without modifications to walls or floors, and to provide their own lifting means if needed. Delivery and installation must be completed within 120 working days from the award date, with the installation phase to be completed within 6 weeks. The removal of old furniture and installation of new furniture must occur on the same day.
