Description
The Bureau of Land Management is soliciting a firm fixed-price quote for vegetation management services covering up to 167 acres of BLM-managed public land. The contractor must apply approved herbicides and adjuvants to control invasive annual brome species, specifically cheatgrass and Japanese brome, while minimizing damage to non-target vegetation. The contractor must furnish all herbicides, adjuvants, surfactants, personnel, equipment, transportation, water, protective equipment, and related supplies. Applications must follow specified rates, weather limits, drift-control requirements, GPS-guided coverage standards, and applicable product labels. The contractor must provide qualified and properly licensed Montana pesticide applicators, demonstrate technical capability and capacity, and submit a technical capability narrative of no more than five pages, relevant experience for two ongoing or completed projects from the past five years, and pricing. Required performance deliverables include a quality control plan, daily pesticide application records, and GPS application data. Award will use a lowest-price technically acceptable method. The stated period of performance is August 15, 2027, through October 1, 2027.
