Description
The City of Billings is soliciting construction bids for a compact roundabout at the intersection of Monad Road and 36th Street West. The work includes curb and gutter modifications; mountable central and splitter islands; pedestrian ramps and sidewalk tie-ins; storm-drain relocations, adjustments, or lateral extensions; street lighting; signage; pavement markings; boulevard restoration; and associated improvements within the existing intersection limits. Bids must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the City of Billings in an amount of at least 10% of the total bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and labor-and-materials payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, and required insurance. The contractor and subcontractors must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled, and bids may be submitted by email, mail, or hand delivery as specified in the notice.
