Description
The City of Billings is seeking a supplier for liquid calcium chloride-based, corrosion-inhibiting deicer for its Street and Traffic Division. The material must contain 25% to 28% calcium chloride, have a clear-to-water-white appearance, and meet the requirements in Exhibit A. The successful bidder must provide local storage with a minimum capacity of 5,000 gallons, deliver by truck to 4848 Midland Road during normal business hours, provide delivery within three business days after receiving an order, and include all delivery-related fees in the bid price. The contract is for one year, with two optional one-year extensions by mutual agreement. Bidders must submit pricing for each contract year using the provided bid forms.
