Description
The City of Cedar Rapids Fleet Services Division is soliciting a firm-fixed-price bid for one new one-ton crew-cab chassis with a 19,000 GVWR, dual rear wheels, four-wheel drive, diesel engine, and a steel service body. The vehicle must include extensive specified equipment and upfitting, including an underhood air compressor, inverter and electrical systems, warning lights, trailer towing equipment, compartments and drawers, hydraulic hose reel, liftgate, vise, fire extinguisher, ladder-rack mounts, and related accessories. The successful bidder must be a licensed vehicle dealer in Iowa and provide the Iowa title application, MSO, and other title paperwork. The bid must include completed vehicle specifications, an engineered drawing of the offered unit, and manufacturer literature. The supplier is responsible for delivery, pre-delivery inspection and cleaning, warranty and service documentation, final inspection coordination, and compliance with applicable vehicle safety regulations. Any exceptions to the specifications or terms must be separately documented in the bid.
