Description
The City of Cedar Rapids is requesting bids for the purchase and delivery of one or two used motor graders, preferably John Deere 772G models or approved equivalents. Proposed machines must generally be model years 2020–2023, have no more than 3,000 hours, be in good operating condition, and meet detailed requirements for diesel power, drivetrain, grading equipment, front scarifier and lift group, hydraulic snow wing, lighting and safety equipment, cab features, tires, and tow hitch. Bidders must provide machine-specific information including serial number, year, hours, equipment description, known defects, photographs, available maintenance history, included attachments and options, deficiencies, and applicable warranty information. The bid also requires a completed motor grader specifications document, responses to the online bid attributes, a firm fixed price including delivery, estimated lead time, warranty information, and any exceptions to the specifications or terms. A completed Buy Local Packet may be submitted if applicable. The award is expected to go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, subject to City approval.
