Description
The University at Buffalo seeks to renew its enterprise search and insight platform for a three-year term. The platform must index and retrieve content across its content management system, Oracle databases, file systems, and campus web properties, with capacity for up to 500,000 documents and daily indexing of more than 350,000 documents. Required capabilities include relevance tuning, faceted navigation, customizable interfaces, search analytics, content and accessibility auditing, personalization, role-based access controls, REST APIs, flexible crawl scheduling, and support for structured and unstructured content. Existing Groovy-based query hooks and index filters must be preserved or migrated as needed. The solicitation also calls for annual software coverage and customer care, including 24/7 incident management and unlimited support and maintenance tickets. The attached quote request form lists three successive coverage periods from September 24, 2027, through September 23, 2030, and requests vendor-completed pricing and product information. Training and documentation for university developers and administrators are also requested.
