Description
Paulding County Board of Commissioners is soliciting quality-based proposals from licensed insurance brokers and agents to provide professional brokerage and consulting services for its employee benefits plan. The selected Broker/Agent will work directly with County Human Resources staff to administer and deliver the employee benefits plan and must demonstrate successful experience serving employers of comparable size and complexity. The broader scope includes renewal and carrier negotiations; plan design, cost, claims, and trend analysis; open-enrollment meetings and enrollment assistance; employee communications; carrier and service-provider coordination; COBRA and Section 125 administration; ACA reporting; Medicare Part D notices; annual stewardship reporting; and ongoing support for Human Resources. The proposal must address firm qualifications, complaints, assigned personnel, comparable clients, references, work samples, carrier relationships, value-added services, conflicts and political contributions, and detailed direct and indirect compensation. The anticipated initial term is three years, with up to three additional one-year extensions.
