Description
The Michigan Bureau of State Lottery is seeking one or more qualified, independent contractors to supervise and conduct daily midday and evening lottery drawings, including televised and non-televised drawings. Daily game drawings use air-mix drawing machines and drawing balls, while other drawings use laptop computers with the Lottery's proprietary drawing application. The drawing official must follow prescribed procedures, work independently, document unusual incidents, communicate effectively, and manage the drawing process with minimal supervision. The anticipated contract term is three years with two option years. Each drawing manager may work up to 81 working days per year, with a combined total not exceeding 132 days per fiscal year. The contractor must be available for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays; at least two weekends per month; and training. The Lottery will provide procedures, training, drawing personnel contact information, and necessary equipment. Background checks may be required for owners, officers, employees, subcontractors, and subcontractor employees before work begins.
