Description
Ector County is seeking a single vendor to furnish, install, stock, maintain, repair, replace, relocate, upgrade, and remove vending machines at County facilities. The current inventory is approximately 28 machines, including snack, candy, refrigerated food, beverage, and specialty machines, with potential for additional locations and equipment during the contract term. The vendor must provide all labor, equipment, products, transportation, payment-processing technology, software updates, maintenance, repairs, and product replenishment at no cost to the County. Machines must be modern, commercial-grade, energy-efficient, ADA-compliant, EMV-capable, able to accept cash, cards, and contactless payments, and equipped with remote monitoring. Services include at least weekly inspection, cleaning, stocking, and maintenance; twice-weekly service at the Law Enforcement Center and Juvenile Probation; fresh product rotation; customer refunds; sales reporting; and prompt response to depleted or malfunctioning machines. The contract is for two years from award, with up to three additional one-year renewals by mutual written agreement. Proposers must submit pricing, a sample contract or standard terms, at least three similar references completed within the past five years, and the required questionnaire and forms.
