Description
This Invitation to Bid covers reconstruction of Allumbaugh Street from Franklin Road to Douglas Street in Boise, including roadway excavation and paving, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, pedestrian ramps with detectable warning devices, driveway approaches, drainage improvements, traffic control, pavement markings, street lighting, traffic signal work, landscaping restoration, utility coordination, stormwater management, and construction surveying and staking. The project also includes removal and replacement of the bridge over Ridenbaugh Canal, bridge approaches, prestressed concrete slabs, concrete abutments and wingwalls, pedestrian/bicycle railings, waterproofing, expansion joints, riprap and canal lining work. The contractor must coordinate railroad-related work with Union Pacific Railroad, comply with railroad access, flagging, safety, insurance, and training requirements, and complete required irrigation and bridge work by March 15, 2027, with remaining work due by June 30, 2027. The expected contract bonding requirement is $3,000,000, and the bid must include bid security equal to 10% of the proposal amount.
