Description
The City of Branson is soliciting bids for chlorine gas in 150-pound cylinders, with estimated usage of 70,000 pounds. The product must be delivered to the Cliff Drive Water Treatment Facility at 521 Cliff Drive, Branson, Missouri. Pricing must be stated per pound, include shipping, unloading, and related delivery costs, remain firm during the contract term, and exclude cylinder deposits. The contractor must provide properly maintained cylinders, unused lead gaskets, timely normal and emergency deliveries, current safety data sheets before the first shipment, and pickup of unused product for credit after the contract period. The initial contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with up to three additional successive one-year renewals at the City's discretion. Bids must be submitted electronically through Euna OpenBids by October 19, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. Central Time. The bid package requires the City's RFB Form, addendum acknowledgment, Immigration Affidavit, Pricing Page, and Affidavit of Compliance. General liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation insurance are required, each with a stated $1,000,000 limit; the City must be named as an additional insured where specified.
