Description
Texas A&M University is establishing Master Orders with one or more vendors for stationary and portable metabolic measurement systems used for resting metabolic rate testing by indirect calorimetry and cardiopulmonary exercise testing. The required equipment includes flow measurement and gas analysis components, canopy hoods or equivalents, sampling lines, filters, hygiene components, masks or mouthpieces, heart-rate monitors, calibration equipment, software, user documentation, and a compatible cycle ergometer with wireless connectivity. Equivalent products may be offered. The scope also includes delivery, turnkey on-site installation, calibration verification, operator training, user documentation, software licenses and updates during the warranty period, and a minimum one-year warranty on parts, labor, and software. Vendors must provide product literature and detailed specifications, pricing for each line item, delivery lead times, and any required alternate-product documentation. The estimated annual expenditure is $75,000, for informational purposes only and not a guaranteed commitment.
