Description
The project replaces an existing 40 kW propane generator and automatic transfer switch with an 80 kW diesel generator equipped with a minimum 24-hour base fuel tank and load bank, plus two 200A automatic transfer switches. It also includes replacing the PCC500 controller with a PCC550 controller and furnishing and installing an emergency generator docking station. Work includes removing the existing concrete generator pad and constructing two new pads, removing the generator's propane piping, and rerouting a sanitary sewer line. The existing generator, transfer switch, and controller must be returned to the county automotive shop in fully operational condition. The estimated project cost is $244,150–$257,000.
