Description
Western Wayne Schools seeks time-and-materials proposals to supply and install up to approximately 72 Category 6A plenum cable runs, averaging 250 feet each, at Lincoln Middle High School and Western Wayne Elementary School. The scope includes cabling, hardware, terminations, patch-panel connections, removal of replaced cabling, labeling, testing with a Fluke DTX tester or equivalent, and electronic test results. Materials must be Panduit, General Cable (Prysmian Group), or equivalent. The work must comply with applicable telecommunications wiring standards and electrical codes, with fire-rated penetrations sealed and cabling routed and supported as specified. The vendor must have a BICSI RCDD and at least one BICSI technician or installer on staff. Proposals must include per-site, per-run pricing, two similar-work references, an E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract. The project is contingent on district approval and Category 2 E-Rate funding; the district may reduce or cancel the project.
