Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking one dip rope assembly, NSN 2040-00-274-3045, under purchase request 7017821859. The required item is a 36-fathom (216-foot) rope with a 2-3/8- to 2-3/4-inch cable size; the end that passes around the thimble must be spliced into the rope. The solicitation identifies applicable technical drawings and requires compliance with the stated technical, quality, packaging, preservation, inspection, marking, and domestic-material requirements. The item must be delivered FOB destination within 20 days after order, with destination inspection and acceptance. The supplier must provide a Certificate of Quality Compliance for delivered supplies, including applicable manufacturer-certified test documentation, and submit the electronic certificate through the designated invoicing and receiving system as required by the resulting contract. All quotations must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
