Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a quotation for 160 feet of special-purpose cable, NSN 6145-01-542-0511, supplied in 500-foot spools with a minimum continuous length of 150 feet per spool. Multiple unit packs are unacceptable under the stated advice code. The solicitation identifies Marmon Aerospace & Defense LLC part number LCAC/3-20-4W and permits alternate offers only when accompanied by a complete data package for both the approved and alternate parts. The cable must meet the stated DLA packaging, preservation, marking, inspection, domestic-material, and technical/quality requirements. Delivery is required within five days after delivery-order acknowledgment, FOB origin, with destination inspection and acceptance; the schedule provides for a quantity variance of plus 10 percent and minus 0 percent. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
