Description
The Salina Airport Authority is soliciting sealed bids for the Building 122 Roofing & Guttering project at Salina Regional Airport. The scope includes removal of approximately 6,343 square feet of existing PVC, TPO, modified bitumen, or rubber roofing; removal of approximately 351 linear feet of gutters and downspouts; installation of a PVC roofing system and 5-inch ISO insulation over approximately 6,343 square feet; and installation of box gutters and downspouts totaling approximately 351 linear feet. Bidders must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and related work necessary for completion. The bid package includes a proposal form, project drawings, and other attachments. Bids must include a 5% bid guaranty, evidence of bidder qualifications and financial responsibility, and a list of inclusions, exclusions, and material and labor warranties. The successful bidder must provide separate 100% performance and payment bonds if project costs exceed $100,000, along with required insurance certificates. The contractor must commence work within 10 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed and complete the project within 30 calendar days of commencement; liquidated damages are $500 per calendar day for late completion.
