Description
The Itawamba County Port Commission is soliciting bids for Phase 1 of a work yard expansion. The project includes mobilization, approximately 6,950 cubic yards of excess excavation, 5,400 cubic yards of borrow material, 13,000 square yards of geotextile fabric stabilization, 1,150 cubic yards of stockpiling and relaying existing stone, 1,150 cubic yards of crushed stone, and related appurtenances. Bidders must obtain contract documents through Plan House Printing and appear on its official planholders list. Bids may be submitted as sealed physical bids or electronically through the designated online planroom. A bid bond is required under the conditions stated in the Information for Bidders; electronic bidders must submit an electronic surety bond or deliver the original hard-copy bond before bid opening. The award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder, and the successful contractor must furnish surety bonds with the executed contract.
