Description
Hillsborough County Public Schools is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide project-based commercial electrical services, including high-voltage work, new installations, maintenance, repairs, upgrades and modernizations, rewiring, circuit-breaker and panel installations, troubleshooting, diagnostics, switchgear work, and coordination with Tampa Electric Company. Contractors must provide all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, incidentals, paperwork, and related items necessary to complete service requests, and must demonstrate the capacity to support a school district of this size. The services are identified as critical to campus security. The solicitation permits general contractors to participate only if they do not use subcontractors. Current contract pricing exhibits identify labor, call-out, equipment-rental, materials-markup, and lump-sum electrical pricing categories. The current contract is held by Crevello Electric, All-In-One Electric, and Tamco Electric Inc.; its stated end date is December 12, 2026.
