Description
This Sources Sought notice requests capability information from qualified businesses able to provide looping cardiac event recording services for patients of the Lexington VA Medical Center. The anticipated requirement includes professional external cardiac monitoring coverage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; ECG transmission review and interpretation; immediate physician notification for specified cardiac events; written reports within required timelines; final summaries for completed studies; and secure electronic report transmission. The contractor would provide qualified personnel, facilities, equipment, event kits, recorders, disposable supplies, telecommunications, maintenance, patient education, baseline recordings, unlimited telephone support during studies, and implementation support. Services must comply with HIPAA, VA information-security requirements, applicable regulatory standards, and a minimum 98% uptime requirement. The projected structure is a one-year base period with four one-year ordering periods, subject to change. This notice is for market research and is not a solicitation for proposals or quotations.
