Description
The City of Georgetown seeks a qualified engineering consultant to provide design and construction administration services for the Northeast Rural/Urban Roadway Improvements project, also identified as the Lexus Way Extended and Old Oxford Road project. The scope includes extending Lexus Way approximately 4,200 linear feet and widening Old Oxford Road, with roadway, shared-use path, drainage, stormwater, traffic, lighting, signalization, striping, signage, landscaping, utility coordination, permitting, right-of-way and easement support, geotechnical services, and traffic study requirements. The consultant must provide field surveying, preliminary and final plans, specifications, bid documents, materials testing documentation, utility coordination, public involvement, bid-phase assistance, construction project management, site visits, shop-drawing review, change evaluation, punch-list and as-built support, and related construction administration. The selected firm must be prequalified by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet in all applicable areas of the scope and demonstrate experience with KYTC and federal requirements. The response must include a DBE participation plan, company and staff qualifications, roadway-design experience, three governmental references, an implementation schedule, required certifications and affidavits, and any applicable additional information.
