Description
The City of Buda is soliciting proposals for a term contract to supply Class D hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement meeting the City of Austin Standard Specifications Manual requirements for PG 64-22 and PG 70-22 binder grades. Offerors must provide firm unit pricing for material picked up by the City at the bidder’s plant and for delivery to the City of Buda, including delivery fees and minimum order quantities. The estimated usage is 2,500 tons annually, but actual quantities will be ordered as needed and are not guaranteed. The initial contract term runs from award for three months, with up to seven additional three-month automatic renewals, subject to funding, market-comparable pricing, and the City’s discretion. Proposals must include a cover page, signed cover letter, completed proposal breakdown, required local certifications, three similar-work references, and the requested pickup plant location.
